The turn-over in ne-waza from Shintaro is extremely useful because it starts from a position where you've attempted a throw but it has failed and the opponent has landed on their stomach, and you can then proceed to them over for a pin and still turn a failed throw into a winning position. Since watching this video I attempted it several times in randori and it has a very good success rate. You don't even need to get the lapel in a position where you are choking them, if you commit to it and you are tight enough, uke will turn over regardless of whether you are choking them or not, and once they do it's pretty much over, because it's very difficult to fight this hold.
