I really have to thank my twitch chat for all the iconic moments and keeping me sane while I do this. Scarlet and Violet hunting really is built different. While I was doing mine, my first shiny took ten hours, but my 2nd shiny took like 5 minutes, my next one 20 minutes, and then I found 2 shiny Pokémon within 5 minutes but one was a SUNKERN which was hidden in the flowers which is basically impossible to see annddddd it was marked

They are only that statistic if you use masuda method (breed a pokemon with a foreign pokemon). I used two English pokemon so it's 1/4096
