This event was interesting, but very hard to hatch a lot of eggs without buying incubators. What would have been nice is if the eggs were 1/2 hatching distance

I'm talking about is for people who just have the infinite incubator, which is why I said "hard to hatch a lot of eggs without buying incubator. What would have been nice is if the eggs were 1/2 hatching distance." Yeah sure it would be a lot of eggs hatched, IF you buy the incubators. It'd probably incentivise people to buy more, making Niantic more money in the end and benefiting the free to play players as well.

6✨ out of 72 eggs, and my best overal iv, is a ✨ 98% iv Riolu. I am happy with what I got. This egg event, was a big step in the right direction when it comes to all egg related events Niantic has organized.

Been lucky enough to get my first shiny Riolu on the very first hatched of the 1st batch (full 9 2km eggs), and then ended up getting 3 shiny Riolu in total. One of the 3 shiny hatched Riolu is far by my best IVs ever because I got my very first SHUNDO hatched. I was so hyped & lucked out.

Congrats on the shinies JT. I was able to hatch 25 eggs total and got 3 shinies and a 93% riolu. No hundos but with an event focused on hatching, the infinite incubator and the lack of an adventure box can take us so long until it is 1 egg per batch.

I was "lucky" I had a limited number of eggs, like 5, 2 of which were the mega rare 5* chance of getting them pokémon instead of Riolu...Didn't get a shiny Riolu at all. BUT there is a highlight, I got a Larvesta from an unrelated 5km egg which is amazing.

I was hyped for this event. In the aweful 96 degree heat I managed my first Shiny Riolu. I only was able to hatch 32 egss and only hatched 2 Shinies. I'm glad you did well JT.

I used only free incubator + sock method. Hatched 8 eggs (1 shiny). Got myself 8 more for post event hatch (so far hatched 4, 1 shiny).

I got pretty lucky. I hatched 18 eggs during the event, and my top 2 iv ones were shiny - 96% and 98%. Still have 7 eggs stewing for later. It was nice that I only got 2 non- 2k eggs during the entire event. Congrats on all those yellow guys! Hope your trades yield you something spectacular.

Hatched 55 eggs in total, first hatch was a shiny! Managed 3 shiny by hatch number 18 and didn’t see another after that. My buddy only got 1 shiny out of 37 eggs and neither one of us got a hundo. From everyone I’ve talked with it seems like odds were closer to 1/20 for most people

I got a hundo riolu 2 years ago and it was my first ever riolu

I did 25 eggs total - when I was getting my initial batch, I got 8 2km and a 10km, which kind of spoiled the mood. Plus, I was walking around my local area where people were doing golden lure parties, and I felt like I saw most of the local player base out. In the end, I had 23 Riolu with 3 shinies (best being 15/15/10, not mad) and one hundo(!). Other eggs were a Fomantis and an Emolga. I now have nine more eggs from the event, with eight 2km and a 5km, so there's always the chance for another shiny Riolu.

Niantic thought it would be a good idea to put a HATCHING event during late July at 2-5 pm aka the hottest hours of the day. Meanwhile many countries in the northern hemisphere are experiencing record high temperatures and long lasting heatwaves. For example, here in Athens, Greece we had 40-43 degrees Celcius during those hours, so of course i didn't go outside to hatch eggs. It's actually mind blowing how out of touch with reality this company seems to be. At LEAST put this event at 6-9 pm or something. It's the MIDDLE OF SUMMER Niantic, how are we supposed to walk outside for hours without risking heatstrokes, dehydration, fainting etc? Idk man i'm just out of words at this point.
