It blows my mind every time you say that something in the early 90's is older than you, babies 😉 I think you both found some really great items. I have never seen a Mrs. Claus with a Santa before, that was neat. And those dark haired angels were very cool. It will be a nice addition to your collection. If you got the trio carolers, missing some red paint-if you care, you can fix it pretty easy! We use red "Lip Sense" all day lipstick-you could probably use any all day liquid lipstick, which comes in many red varieties. I have used it for quite awhile, and it works good, if you don't have a huge surface to cover-which you don't in the case of the carolers! I have found that circular motion with the lipstick works best or if, you only have a very small spot-you can just dab it on! You might also have a better idea, but this does work well, we keep 4 asst. reds, 1 black, and 1 white tube just in case we need to repair vintage treasures! Hope this was a helpful hint!

You can identify the older globes by looking for the European countries names. Prussia is now Germany, USSR is now Russia, etc.

My Aunt and Uncle used to own a ceramic shop back in the 70’s-90’s and they have sooo many ceramic trees (my Aunt passed away a few years ago) and my Uncle has a 4 ft tall white tree with the red pegs it is GORGEOUS!!!! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁

I looked on eBay for the Stafford, and they have several things listed and they have sold for pretty good money? I saw a set of little girls candle holders, one had blonde hair and one had dark hair. Very interesting, I had never heard of them either.

If you want to know if a globe is old just look at Russia. If it says Russia then it's newer. If it says U.S.S.R then it's older.

Why would you have left the carolers. I know the red cold paint was coming off but you could have touched it up or the buyer could of done it. I've done it before. I got acrylic paint. It took several coats. Then I used shellac and it came out beautiful.
