My goal for 2025 is to establish myself and my brand so that one day I might be able to call myself a Pokémon Professor. It’s been my dream to become a relatively well known face amongst the Pokémon community. I hope that one day I could get to work alongside the likes of yourself, Absol, Radiant, Sxper, Arlie, Reversal, and even Johnstone. That drone show looked like a BLAST! how fun to play giant “who’s that Pokémon?” with a whole crowd 🤣 Also, I’m glad Catherine was able to overcome her anxiety to be able to attend. I also have social anxiety, but I attend a large annual fan convention. It really DOES make a difference to be among people you can feel a kinship with, as opposed to people who feel like total strangers. I’m glad she got to experience that. And yes, big events adding quiet rooms is a huge accessibility step, imo. It’s hard to explain just how much those can help when someone is having an anxiety attack, to remove most of the noise, crowding, and overwhelming movement all around them. In my experience, it can help immensely.

I'm so glad that you ended up having fun. I've always wanted to go to worlds but two things generally held me back. The first was lack of funds, which is solved because I work now. The second is that I am a very shy person in general. I have trouble being social and talking with others. I'm just anxious and has trouble interacting with others which makes social interactions hard for me. Pokemon is something I love so much though. It's given me so many irl friends that I wouldn't replace for the world. It makes me consider going next year because I want to be able to meet other pokemon fans and maybe even make new friends.

Dehydration is the worst. I attended my first badminton camp and had not taken a water bottle with me and ended up almost fainting in the first doble trainings battle. My friend came to my rescue and let me borrow her bottle, because the camp had decided to only give us soda... and I was to shy to ask for water from an adult. Well done on getting to world, even when dealing with anxiety :D that is not an easy win
