Shipping Container to Portable Pop-Up Shop

Watch as we convert a shipping container to a portable pop-up shop, which we recently debuted at the Kickoff to Summer event at the Minnesota State Fair grounds. Matt and Peru at Paddle North worked hard with the design and buildout of this container. We can't wait for the next event.

How did you hang the plywood on the walls? Did you screw through the metal or did you use special nails? I'll be taking on similar project soon and I'm gathering info. Thank you.

Thanks for watching. We welded 1x1 steel tubing to the container walls parallel to the floor. Then, countersunk the wood and put self tappers into the steel tubing to hold the wood. After that, we put wood plugs over the screw heads and sanded the excess plugs off.

Does this pop up store float? , and how many pumps to inflate to recommend PSI? Are you going for two pontoons or three for the floating store, electric drive or 4 stroke.. for gen one we can snorkel to it. 🤔👍 How many paddle ships to float 1 container???
