Whenever I use the regular flat rate envelope....I ALWAYS shore up the sides and the flap with tape. Just in case it would have some rough treatment ( it happens!) or if it gets wet. I had gotten something in one of them years ago that the side split open and the contents were gone so thats why i do that. Oh...and of course it showed as delivered regardless of contents being gone. I do not want that same thing to happen with one of my buyers!

Great tip for sellers! For years I have shipped golf balls using the flat rate envelope, 2 dozen fit in nicely & NEVER had a envelope break from the weight & they were heavy!

That's how we sell jeans, hubby started using the priority bubble mailer's he said they were easier to ship in. Then I caught on they were costing me more in shipping. Now, when ever he tries to get away with it, I yell "THAT'S MY DIME"!!! He doesn't use them anymore without permission. Since I sell a lot of clothing I have clear bags that cost even less than the white poly mailers. Also, think outside the box you don't have to use poly's that you buy. If it's a large enough piece of plastic wrap the item in that as long as it doesn't look bad. I have a large roll of plastic wrap I got for free. Yep, I use it, just as long as it doesn't look bad. At Christmas I even used Christmas ribbon wrapped it around the plastic wrap. No one has said anything about reusing used materials yet. I get multiple buyer's. Those "MY DIMES" add up. Thanks for all the shipping video's. Some nut guy is telling everyone you can cut up the bubble mailers and wrap them around a box. Their is so much bad info out the new people need your help I'm not new but, still learning as I go.
