For something like the bird cage I would put "May be disassembled for shipping" in the description. This gives you the option.

Congrats on your sales. Can you contact the buyer of the birdcage and ask them if it’s ok if you break it down and tell them it’s going to be like $50 to ship. I’m sure they will be ok with it and can find someone or themselves to put it back together. Or ask if they will spilt the difference in the added shipped cost-if I was me I would help. Ppl love birdcages if their anything like me. That’s a beautiful bird cage. Mom and I have collected them over the years. Hey Dave! What I do is put how much I paid for something in the “custom sku” section of my listing. So that way even if I forget where or when I got it I’ll never forget how much I paid for it! Also helps when deciding if you want to take a “lowball” offer or not!

Take a video of you disassembling and reassembling the birdcage and send it to the customer so they know how to do it. Ship it disassembled.

I would cancel under the reason: problem with buyers address and provide a detailed explanation. You’re gonna get a neggy for sure when he gets it and it’s missing the blanks. I’d think it would be much easier to get a negative removed for the order cancellation. Maybe. The international buyer is paying a butt ton of money on shipping to not get what he ordered.

DO NOT ship the nailgun. I would cancel. The buyer purchased it with the blanks so if you leave them out you are likely to get a neg. If you ship the blanks you may get a visit from the Feds. There are lots of regs regarding shipping controlled items like that(ORM-D) and they may be fobodden in the country of the buyer. Cancel and move on.
