We have shipped our 4x4 camper vehicle 4 times already. From 4 different continents. Europe to North America (Germany to Canada), North America to South America (Panama to Colombia), South America to Australia (Uruguay to Australia) and Australia to Asia (Australia to East Timor). We did it all, roll-on roll-off, single container, double container, with Carnet de Passage, without carnet de passage. You are right it is not as complicated as it seems. And the price has really been bad to and from australia but most other shipping routes are pretty decent as you highlight when it allows you to have your gear and home with you.

Hi. It’s diesel and no we’ve always found diesel. Bolivia would be the only country that was sometimes tough to get some because of their tourist pricing which no one wants to fill the paperwork.

I didn t disconnect the battery when we ship to Halifax in a container and they got really piss in Canada, also I didn t disconnected in Centro America and going back to Europe, but normally you need to do it for safe reasons.We never got our landy inspected at no port and was always full with food an wine etc ,no risk no fun😀
