Found a clean looking C class solar ship very early in my playthrough for like 1.6 mill credits. Used it through my whole playthrough despite it being only C class lol

very nice video for beginners, really informative and cover all bases. one remark, when you talked about 5% of finding S-class ships in pirate systems vs the 2% ,1%, 0% of other systems, its worth mentioning (if you did and i missed, I apologize) that those S-class are usually with lesser stats compared to those on regular systems

Hi, thank you - there doesn't seem to be any mention of that in the game files. Each ship type has their own stat range so they will always come up different. Interesed to know if you've got evidence of that though. 😁

I was getting worried that a solar ship may have overridden the exotic one in my starter system. It's been weeks that I'm waiting for it to spawn with no avail. I've also tried finding a crashed one (like the first time I found it), but so far no luck on that end. Although I found many similar ones... It's just not the same. Very good and informative video. I was not very fond of the shuttles until I found one I liked. Bought it, upgraded it, and named it: Family Sedan

If you're looking for upgrade parts, you can get the recipes from the ship guy at the back of the anomaly (nexus)

If it's not saying the shop type, it's a glitch. Try reloading the game.

So do you think the sentinels are the best overall? Style is important to me, but how the ship feels while flying is by far the most important. Ive had some fun and cool haulers / solars / fighters. However I’m kind of upset that the interceptors fly so much better because I don’t like the style as much.

Sentinels have good overall manoeuvrability stats, but fighters can also be up there. Good upgrades can help a lot with that.

how do you get all 4 ship stats to show up??? im setting in a ship in my freighter.. all i see is damage and hyperdrive

That's odd, you should always see 4 stats. I think the freighter might only have 2 stats. Check you're looking at the Starship tab 👍

The sentinel ships can hover, making them to me the only viable ship type in the game. Don't get me wrong i do love all kinds of other ships and have hunted some of my favorite designs, it's just they don't hover and i can't be bothered flying them xD

Every time I scrap a ship at a space station I get my starter ship as a replacement. Is there a way to change the order of ships without scrapping these early ships?

No, there isn't I'm afraid. Upgrade the radiant pillar! It ends up being really good 💯

They're all good options, and stock fighters. Try to upgrade the class and the weapons 😁

Hi 👋 new to this. So, I found a crashed ship, but it’s parts are damaged! It’s worth a lot of money & has more storage than mine..should I sell it for parts or keep it? If I keep it, can I transfer the working parts on my current ship onto the new ship so I don’t have to repair it? Last, will I lose my previous ship if I decide to keep the new one?

Hi, the best and easiest thing to do is scrap the ship for cash. It's not always easy to fix the bits in early game. Head to the space station scrap it for cash then buy your choice of ship 🚢

Started playing 2 wks ago, upgraded to an s class exotic guppy, God they're so ugly. Can't wait to find a sentinel or solar. Guppies look like giant mosquitos. Stats are tremendous compared to the base ship so it's a no brainer, but God I hate looking at it, it's so awkward.

exotic ftw easy, huge tech capacity right away, commonly with 3 super charged slots in a row. Looking for anything else usually just ends in frustration due to bad tech slots imo. When that beautiful S class fighter with the long nose spawns after a few hours and it only has 2-3 super charged slots that are spread out, remember that I warned you.

Yes, sometimes it's better to find a lower class version and upgrade it. Super charged slots are always a gamble!

@@RiceysEmporium Super charged slots are all that matters as far as performance goes too. You need 3 connected for your infra-knife upgrades. Although, I suppose that's why ship combat isn't hard, so you can use whatever ship and upgrades you want. I just can't bring myself to upgrade. It's arguably faster to just wait for a higher class than to earn the nanites back.
