I think if they can simultaneously improve the physics and gameplay as well as working on all those new assets, they'll be able to grow the games player base. I only discovered this game a few days ago and this channel for that matter. Something to maybe mention if you havent already would be to work on the water physics in terms of sea states between open water and in a marina or behind a breakwater. The reason harbours and ports are designed this way is so that the water is much calmer when in the shelter of a harbour. The only times you will see a big swell in a harbour is when there is wind againsed tide or the wind is blowing directly into the mouth of the harbour. It seems like they must have some people on the team who know a thing or two anyways and is good to see a game with promise. Another great video sir

A good watch and a great looking road map. Already looking forward to crab DLC circa 2027! As far as cars are concerned, perhaps that is just for the ‘ferry’ transport purposes that they have alluded to previously.

Not worth picking this back up until September for me then. Excited for whats to come but I'm just going to forget about this for the next few months until some of these qol fixes in. Can't play with these calm seas and I hate not having gutting in the game. Promising whats to come but its a wait and see for me. Still glad I bought it though to support the devs.

Had an interesting idea while watching you video. What about options in the menu that make the game morw arcade, or more sim. That way you dont ailenate eiter community.

Yes, a slider would be ideal for many situations. In arcade mode everything is given so much easier, which is annoying and unfair on Sim players I think. Allows greedy YTbers to exploit the shortcuts.

I can bet that post 2025 it will be abandoned. It's a boat sim and it will take 2 years to see the first actual (futuristic) ship. People will lose interest. Well.. we'll see.

they've never really abandoned the other two games.Was still getting updates years later till both were finished. I think ships at sea will go on for years.
