Beautiful reminds me of diving on the big island of Hawaii 40 years ago. The coral looks healthy which of course is key to the amazing biodiversity.

I do feel sorry for the skipper, it was a risky move and he paid the price. In his mind im sure he was thinking of the comfortable nights sleep just a mile or so away

That doesn’t look like salvaging look more like strip what one can get for free. Scavenging I would say. The plastic boat what will happen to it? Oh wait the insurance company will pay for its removal and Zoe even a cabinet Dort to help pay for the loss.

Didn’t see anyone surfing. Plenty of surf back in Tahiti. I’m thinking it’s two shallow in the fringing reef
