Can we appreciate that the pirate hat bird was at Beard's base while he was reminiscing the shipwrecked play through, the "maxwell" of this world. I really liked that and it felt natural too. he said nothing, cuz what could he say that would be a viable taunt at this point?

Alright, a bit late, but here is my lore for the hamlet island. "Wilbur has seen more than most. He's been to a land, where he is but a mote of dust to titans. Has survived and thrived in a world that has forever threatened to burn, drown, and sweep him away. Has both stopped the end times, and the herald that brings them. But, all that has taught him a valuable lesson. That life, isn't about survival, but about living it. Doing what makes you the happiest you can be. So, he settled down upon the skull island, doydoys nearby to appease the volcano, and began to enjoy a simple life. However, other plans were in motion. The citizens of the hamlet, had a contingency plan. Should the end times come upon them again, they would leave their homes and take their chances on the seas. The fateful day came, and the herald returned, and with his return, the plan was set forth. It was rough, and rather hellish, but eventually they found an island , where Wilbur, the once monkey king turned hermit, was living in a small shack-like home. As time went on, and the people began to understand the dangers of the world, grow, adapt, and expand across the island, however the one enigmatic occurrence, was Wilbur and his ritualistic sacrifices. However, the keen eyed citizens realised this was to appease some deity, that would make its presence known via the land shaking. As they expanded, they began to explore, and eventually they found a terrifyingly death defying sight. The active volcano. More accurately, the living volcano. With the knowledge the shaken explorers gave, a pact was struck, as wilbur's continued snackrifices kept them safe from a now known threat, the volcano. This was many moons ago, and with time comes forgetfulness. With forgetfulness, misinformation, and with misinformation, a once reasonable agreement made, turns into a legend, and tradition. Time has passed, and the citizens of the hamlet now thrive as a trading and fishing village, the secrets of power and electricity have been unlocked. Thunderbirds now domesticated. The once dreaded hurricanes, now a source of power. The agreement made long ago, forgotten, but the tradition lives on, and so does the city. The elders caring for the sacred birds of sacrifice, and carriers delivering food to the doorstep of the hermit Wilbur. The hermit continues to uphold his end of the now forgotten bargain. The citizens delivering food, and commodities such as coffee left as offerings to this enigmatic character, he survives, and more importantly, lives. This is where things remain, and where they will stay.... For now."

Wow. I already loved that Beard made up his own little lore for this playthrough, but you just added to it immensely! Heck, I would read a comic about this, because it's so fascinating to picture, watching it unfold would be really cool.

May i make a suggestion for a character for you to play during Reign of Giants? How about Mighty Wolfgang? Other than that, I watched this entire series from start to finish, from when you woke up on that first island, punched that first Butterfly, and made your new Island home. The Beard, i almost feel like this is the end of a fantastic movie that deserve some hour long credits. Can't wait till the next adventure, been loving the channel so far, and I cannot WAIT until the next journey you create. See ya soon.

I think there is a bit of misunderstanding, friend. Don't Starve's DLCs are officially Hamlet and Shipwrecked - they are real expansions, no mods.

WX-78 is way too good for the Don't Starve DLCs, even Shipwrecked. Hurricane Season sets you up for the remainder of the seasonal cycle and that just repeats over and over again as nothing can kill you cause nothing can catch you.
