@ it’s an open space, so it’s completely free to check out 😊 The only time you’d need to spend money is if you want to grab a photo taken by the pro photographer there. They’ll snap your pic, and you can buy a printed copy if you’d like!

I went there on Feb 2nd. I believe winter ends around the last week of Feb, so you might still get some snow around that time. 😊

Hi there! I actually didn't follow a fixed itinerary since I was traveling solo and wanted to explore the place at my own pace. One tip though - I definitely recommend booking your bus tickets in advance to save yourself some hassle. Feel free to check out the different spots I visited in this vlog for reference. Hi! I left Nagoya at 7:50am and made it to Shirakawago by 10am. I boarded the last bus back to Nagoya which is at 4:30 pm. If you want to make the most of the trip and justify the almost 6-hour bus ride (roundtrip), I'd suggest dedicating a whole day to exploring the place. It’s worth it! 😊
