These are great videos, thank you. I work from home on the gulf coast of Florida, US; and I use these types of travel or tour videos as a virtual "commute" to decompress before going from the spare room to the kitchen. This is brilliantly edited and fun to watch from start to finish. I just discovered your channel today but look forward to exploring your country through your lens. Be safe!

This brings back so many great memories from our stay in Shirakawa-go back in 2017... My husband and I cannot wait until we can come back to Japan, we miss it so much! Thank you for your travel videos, they are so well made and show travel in Japan very accurately and creatively, in my opinion~

Just recently discovered your channel and subscribed. I've always wanted to go to Shirakawago. Thank you for taking a video of yourself exploring the area. It's such a beautiful place and so peaceful. Your accommodation was great with delicious looking food. I really enjoyed this video.

Thanks for the sub! And please visit Shirakawa-go :) It's a beautiful place. I'd love to visit again when it's snowing. The access is not bad from Nagoya by bus :)

@@travelloveranna Well there is talk in one Japanese newspaper that they might open Japan to tourists soon so we shall see. If it does happen this year I am certain to visit Shirakawa-go.

May I know how to book room in this Gassho house?

I think I did it on booking.com but this site should work as well. shirakawa-go.gr.jp/en/

As expected, it doesn't seem easy to find such specific places. Anyway, Anna, I'll continue to enjoy your wonderful works that I haven't seen yet. Thank you.

I am just wondering that these off the beaten track places in Japan, though extremely pretty, will it be accommodating for foreigners? In another word, do we have to speak Japanese in order to survive in these places?
@travelloveranna2 жыл бұрын
They used to have many foreigners before the pandemic! That's what I heard :) People there were very nice, so don't worry about it!

@@travelloveranna Much thanks for your reply. Indeed look interesting. I am planning first to go to Okinawa before X’mas. The ANA video looks extremely enticing.

its very beutiful and i mean no disrespect here but i suspect that a westerner would not be welcome. Love the vids
@travelloveranna2 жыл бұрын
I don't think so! There were many westerners for sure before pandemic.
