You can really see it every time she talks about Noel recently. Being stuck in a state of love without proper foundations can be terrifying. She constantly second-guesses what actions with Noel would be normal. She doesnt say Noel is her lover and speaks about having no time, but at the same time she often says she is lonely and wishes Noel was around. These things dont match up. Like I said, I dont know what is really going on behind the streams. It just seems complicated.

Maybe It’s me projecting myself but I really feel like Flare is very insecure actually (which is why her being the pampered one in the NoeFla relationship is precious), and her coping mechanism is trying to be independent, to laugh as she’s crying, to “cheat” and not taking the whole thing with Noel serious on purpose. I don't think it's prohibited but they're not "supposed to" talk about it if they do have it because of... the same reason Gen 5 only has 4 members... There's a lot of love and support in the Hololive community, a ton of people who would be genuinely happy for the idols if they found a partner outside of Hololive, but there's also a lot of very unpleasant characters within the fandom, the kind that would throw a tantrum and take it personal (unreasonably so) if they chose to have interests outside of Hololive or god forbid, a normal life. Most Hololive members keep their personal lives a secret not to protect themselves but to protect anyone who is in any way related to them... To be perfectly honest I felt sad when I heard Flare say "I don't want a boyfriend, I love streaming." As if the main reason a boyfriend wasn't an option is because it would put her livelyhood at risk, which let's be honest, it would. Part of me wishes Hololive and Holostars made more public collaborations simply to warm the fans to the idea of opposite genders interacting but part of me also hopes it doesn't happen because of those odd balls that would take it personal.
