So I listened to Glennis Grace and Lani Misalucha, both are absolutely fabulous, then I come to watch Ms. Bassey, and the tears just start to flow. She really sings, and her build and voice and power, it's just amazing and makes me think THIS woman is Whitney Houston's only competition, if that's even an issue! Just incredible, that's what she is....!

Both Candace and Tom's version are technically excellent. There are others also - Cynthia Enrivo demonstrates a fantastic voice range. But IMO none of them come close to the original. Just listen to the desperation she conveys in the first line of the song.

@@takemyhand1988 I disagree totally. there were some Filipino singers who can actually belt from their chest voice and occasionally mixed with head tones. Shirley's style is so uniquely hers , the facial expressions and hand gestures are her trademarks. But get real , no one can do it to the tune of Adele or say Jessie J songs . It just doesn't make sense at all

Firstly may I want to say that I am not biased in any way...........other than The Dame and I hail from the same City, Cardiff in Wales. Apart from that, I have been a devoted Fan for 65 years, since I was 8!!! We both believe that we are 29 years of age!!! Ok, I lied about being biased!! I have been fortunate enough to be at many Concerts over a very long period of time. I would like to place on record that I believe the 1987 Berlin Concert is the definitive DSB, No bumps or grinds a little bit of humour which appeared to be lost on the Audience and getting slightly lost in Send in the Clowns and quite a bit lost in There's no place like London, This is not a criticism, as I would never hear of that. It's simply what makes the greatest Female Entertainer a true Ledgend. How I miss those Tours!!! May I wish all the DSB fans great watching of all the videos.
