Andy H. D. C. Just to put your mind at ease Shirley is adored especially in the UK. Still as popular as ever, a national treasure! She performed at the UKs biggest festival Glastonbury a few years back. Was in the charts with a cover of Pinks Get the party started when she was 70. Also performed a Bond theme a couple of years ago at the Oscars. She's still going strong and still very much adored. Almost jealous of the fact that you have only just discovered her, you've got so much great music coming your way!
