This one of my favorite Bassey concerts! I've watched it many times! Had to get away and watch it again tonight. Makes me feel so much better with all that's going on here in the US and around the world. Love Shirley! This time I really paid attention to the drummer, more than in the past. He was having a blast! If only I would have had the opportunity to see Shirley!

My dad is on guitar. The drummer is Gerry Freeman and he was my drum tutor. Uncle Mike conducting. Dave Lynane on Bass, Trumpets Derek Healy Paul Davis ....basically the best musicians in the world. Shirley was great, but could be very difficult. She was very lucky to have the best orchestra in the world. Her musical director Mike Alexander was bloody strict with her. He would give her a roasting at times. But.....she was at her best because of Mike
