Amazing! When I see comments like "DivisiveOffering" I could cry.You can't compare Bassey and Wilson; two completely different styles of artist.Most of these artists are friends and hold each other in the highest esteem (a good example is Dionne, Gladys and Patti)and if you only knew what they think about people like you, you would go and dig a hole and jump in. Today real talent has been reduced to nothing but looks and appearances and music today no longer has classy, sophisticated and well-written songs but songs that have bubble-gum lyrics that gets stale over time and loses its taste and is no longer remembered. Songs like that will not be remembered many years later.

Adelle is huge and a huge JOKE.....how far down have we, no, they, lowered the bar....it was quite obvious at the oscars that Shirley's perfomance was renowned and garnered a standing ovation. And when Adelle was singing you felt completely EMBARRASSED for her....it was painful! And Ms Bassey is 77 years young I believe!
