Shirley talks about David Cassidy, Marlon Brando, Gordon MacRae, Danny Bonaduce, Susan Day, Carousel, Oklahoma, her husband Marty Ingels and so much more.
Shirley Jones is an American singer and actress of stage, film and television. In her six decades of show business, she has starred as wholesome characters in a number of well-known musical films, such as Oklahoma! (1955), Carousel (1956), and The Music Man (1962). She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a vengeful prostitute in Elmer Gantry (1960). She played the lead role of Shirley Partridge, the widowed mother of five children, in the musical situation-comedy television series The Partridge Family (1970-74), which co-starred her real-life stepson David Cassidy, son of Jack Cassidy.

I am late, but please ignore/ report the romance SCAMMER fake accounts saying 'hello (name)''. They are fishing for attention. If you check the comments you will see they are dangling the same bait with multiple women, to see if they can get a bite from someone. @@johndaugherty7779 I 'liked' a comment of yours saying to get an eye check, because Shirley Jones clearly did naturally age. Even I can see that, and I do need new glasses! However, you have assumed that all people find younger people more beautiful. To some, people do look more beautiful with age. Young people look bland and boring to me. Shirley Jones is extremely comfortable in herself and womanhood. Her face expresses more of a personality and richness of life, which to me, and others, is very attractive. Observable facts, such as ageing, are objective, but perception of beauty is subjective. That"s why assuming facts about beauty is flawed. .

I don't know why you would feel sad for Shirley Jones who had a fulfilling and rewarding life. She was able to enjoy a career, as well as raise four well-adjusted sons who avoided drugs. She lived a life full of hope; overcoming heartache and supporting her second husband, Marty, with dealing with his phobias. People without hope don't advocate causes. You are no more, or less blessed than someone who isn't a Christian. That you are sad at Shirley's life indicates that you see the miserable where Shirley is happy, hopeful and fulfilled, so you must have a more negative perspective than the non-Christian. I am sad for you.

@lenwelch2195
@lenwelch2195 6 жыл бұрын
Xyz Xyz estrogen therapy is fine for most women , a small percentage are at risk for breast cancer and since breast cancer is estrogen based , taking estrogen can feed/ start the cancer. It’s dose dependent and it’s important to have genetic testing because a family history of breast. Cancer precludes a woman from estrogen therapy. After this taping in the years that followed it then became standard of care not to give estrogen therapy to majority of woman, in last 5 years it’s become understood that a very low dose for women w/o family history of cancer , and genetic testing along with frequent monitoring that some woman can be on low estrogen combination therapy and it’s safe. There are health benefits to low estrogen therapy . It’s a case by case basis for estrogen therapy but at the time of this taping it was standard of care for women having hysterectomies inducing menopause to go on hormone therapy. Similar to men taking testosterone replacement therapy over 50 - too high a level and there’s a risk of prostate cancer. Again it’s a case by case decision between dr and patient, Shirley was not being irresponsible .

Was that a genuine conspiracy theory??? I guess if people are scared of lizard people and Free Masons, why not? Anything goes when you abandon fact and reason, and suspend disbelief. Imagination and believing you have special knowledge are intoxicating,and makes you vulnerable to acceptence of more extreme delusions. Especially when remaining in an echo chamber of misinformation, because you feel some sense of belonging in that 'elite 'tribe'. It's becomes increasingly difficult to see how absurd these conspiracy theories are, because objectivity is lost. The home of conspiracy theories and theorist is in the U.S.A, because they have the largest population of Christians who are taught that blind faith is a virtue, not critical thinking. So they are ripe for getting duped by absurd theories with no basis. I mean, from talking snakes to lizard people- it's not a big leap.
