This is an excellent film on one of my favorite actresses, Shirley MacLaine, with Shirley herself speaking and others who have worked with her. We see a few and family photos. In one, you see a closeup of her daughter's face and you think you are looking at Shirley herself. The likeness is remarkable, You also see and a few short clips from her movies and other performances. Everyone should see her movies to appreciate her talent. I loved Shirley in "Steel Magnolias". I'm a Southern Belle myself and I went to college in Natchitoches, Louisiana where the film was filmed. I loved walking along the bank of the Cane River...where the ending of the film happened...during the Easter egg hunt. Ouisa was one of my favorites. They all were really. But it's Ouisa. Remember seeing Shirley at my local cinema when Can Can was showing what a great pair of legs nearly fell out of the seat when she lifted up her skirt to reveal to the world (well you know what) i`ve seen the film main times on television over the years and have only just spotted a flaw when she`s dancing the Can Can ..... when she turns round and bends over again lifting her dress to show her bottom to the audience one of her suspenders had become detached from one of her stocking tops, very surprised the producers did`nt ask for a re take ............ i wonder if Shirley remembers that scene ? ....... thanks for the memories Shirley.
