I never thought to cornrow the hair before clipping them in! Plus, cornrows help your hair grow so this is a perfect way to grow out your hair while your clips are in ! Thanks for the tips !!

OMG you don't know how perfect the timing of this video is. I ordered clip in hair extensions (because of you!) and I just received them today. I'm off to wash my hair and install them exactly how you did it now!

WOW! Cornrows never crossed my mind when adding clip-ins. This will work so great with people, like myself, who are natural and don't want to straighten their whole head. I am so excited to try this.

it'll also be good for summer since that's happening now :) like if people (like me) dont want to get or like a sew in. i was going to get one but i think im going to do this method instead since its like a sew in only there's no thread and needle involved

Are you kidding me with these Clip-Ins, its that easy. Shirley thank you so much. You have just made life easy and cheaper for me. It cost me US300.00 every 3 or 4 months to get a weave installed. You have made me so excited just thinking about a DIY weave installed. Thank you thank you thank you. I love love love your videos. Keep it up. XOXO.

So I am a business school student and I'm doing a 4month exchange semester in Shanghai. I'm black btw. I was soooo worried about how I would do about my hair once in china because i usually sew down my weaves. This video "saved my life" lool now i clip in my hair extensions every morning before going to school. And its so much better than sewing in because you can actually take care of your own hair everyday. Love it. Thanks shirley ;)

Wow Shirley, i didn't know that you braid your hair and just clip your pieces right on to the braids! I do love the autonomy of this method. When you are tired of your clip-ins, you can just unclip, and go. Im thinking that I will try your method next. Wish me luck!

wow, that style really looked nice. I tried that before with the clips, but found that it seemed to pull at my hair, because it would get snagged on one little hair or something. Did it feel comfortable in your hair. Did it hurt at all. I found that the clips pulled to tight on my hair and were uncomfortable. I felt a regular so in was more comfortable to me... by the way you are very pretty, you have such a nice profile. Thanks for the tutorial, aloha

The very first time you made the clip ins did you braid your hair or just measure it and braid it later and when you take them off every night, the hair that is not braided do you roll it every night or curl it everyday and if you do how do you protect it from all the heat? I am currently making the same thing and am using your tutorial as a guide.
