What about ye guys this is just a video following up on my Shiro Utsuri, doing a scrape and moving the Koromo over out of the garage. I show you how I do some water parameter tests.

You are somebody who has the inspired me to get fully into this hobby about two/three years ago at a time when I was researching to go to the next level. Your koi, your practice and your methods taught me some really good stuff. Build a bigger pond when funds allow and when you are ready. You have some outstanding fish. We always want bigger koi, bigger pond, bigger garden... But doing things right us another matter. And you are. So the bigger pond will come in time. If all the people who have massive ponds could have the quality fish you have and could teach by sharing as much as you have, a lot of people would have less problems. ☺️

Thanks Lau, I was planning on building another pond here recently. It's not the funds restricting me I just don't see myself living here long term. House is fine but short on land.... So I am not going to invest in a new pond and then move................ However lol I will be changing a lot on this pond to better suit my needs. I follow all those other people you mentioned and i have to give you credit. Your koi are much better quality then their koi.. You have some show quality koi.. They have pond quality koi with better ponds and filter set ups (rdf and the like). Personally i would take the better quality koi over the pond. You can always upgrade the pond later.

Very kind of you to say that, but I am in love with a showa in Andrews pond that doesn't get much air time. I could easily build a new pond but decided my next home will be the last so I will wait. However I could buy all the filtration now 🤔watch this space.

Here's something you may want to look into if you've not already come across it Anarex Bio logisch 4 Shipped from Netherlands Iv found it increases there appetite and defenatly helps with bumps & wounds I use it to soak there feed x2 - 3 times a day father's than adding it to pond Soak feed for approx 10 mins

Yeah definitely in the future, My pond is only 1500 ltrs, but hopefully next year I'm going to go bigger. Should of built it bigger at the start but as my mother would say "should of, would of done of. I don't know if that's just an irish saying, 🤣

We Japanese KOI enthusiasts do not scoop with a net at this time of year. It's the summer that counts. Keep them in a way that nourishes their feeding instincts. The basics. But no one practices it in your country.
