It’s interesting that you can tell in the early 2000’s that the 3D animation team used a remake of the Super Mario 64 star music while the Super Mario Bros series stayed with the original theme. I honestly prefer the star music in Super Mario 64. It sometimes brings tears in my eyes in nostalgia
