Mario and luigi bowser's inside story has my favourite true ending as you get praise for playing past the main game as you finish the actual game around level 33 so you have to get everyone an extra 7 levels to get max rank and then you get that simple yet rewarding message of praise.

17:34 Actually, that's not the true secret ending. In the true secret ending, you get an after-credit cutscene that shows the Origami Master Toad putting 2 tiny versions of Olly and Olivia in their little thrones. You can only get this if you never use the health boost or attack boost equipable items. The game doesn't tell you this, which is pretty shitty.

@@edentague8141 Well, it's like when you use the invincible Tanooki in Super Mario 3D World. If you use it even once, the game will not acknowledge that you completed the game, even if you got absolutely everything.
