It's my favourite section too Hell most of the gimmick sections in The Run are really fun like the Avalanche escape, that was so fun

Man the memories, the last game ive ever finished with my cousin. We were playing , and had trouble with this last race. And my cousin said ok lets get out of the house I said wait, the game looks like its about to finish.... He said ok, you get one last try, if you fail, im shuting down the ps3 and we go hang out outside, I put all my freaking brain cells into it 😅😂 Trying not to fail, and ended up wining!!! Such a blessed times 😍 Now that we got older, he is not that intrested in video game anymore, so this childhood memories means a lot to me . Love this game by the way ❤😊

@GoTi4No ? The Run’s servers were extremely active up until closure. They shut the servers down along with all their other PS3/360 titles because it was at its 10 year mark and we’re 2 generations ahead now. It had a good 10 year run. Hot Pursuit Remastered is doing well and won’t be going offline anytime soon. Same for if they remastered The Run or any other fan favorite NFS. They would only shut down servers on a Remastered version if they were phasing that console generation out, or if the player count was near 0 (which wouldn’t be the case for a very long time)

For years I’ve had memories of when I played a nfs game on Xbox 360 that had a boss race where there was a section that had cargo crates and I couldn’t for the life of me remember which nfs had it and now I’ve finally found it. I knew I wasn’t fuckin crazy

That race the only manner to lose, is if you lost the all restart! So that part in extreme mode must be defiant!

There are multiple ways of losing, getting totaled (with no rewinds), getting hit by a train in the Subway section or not reaching the alleyway in the final segment

@lol_dope remake is remaking everything, the game from the ground up and a whole new story (or a story close to the original but different) A remaster is what you described, the same game with a graphical update

one thing i dont like about this is you can see when the rubber banding kicks in, its a dumb and cheap mechanic to make racing games "harder"

Rubber banding is bad but for this, I give it a pass for how awful it is Imagine reaching one of those scripted segments but your opponent isn't that, it COULD break the scripting of the rest of the race and could potentially soft-lock or completely break that save, when it comes to the other races that ain't got any scripted segments and other racers, yea rubber banding is annoying but for this game, despite it being bad, I give it a pass because it's done for scripting purposes

With how the story goes, having it be Open-World doesn't really make much sense since your basically doing a Sprint Race across the nation so having an Open-World wouldn't make much sense The customisation, yea I'd love that but the Open-World, I disagree
