I must say, the ending feels weaker compared to other NFS. It just like "Congrats. You won. Let's be friends again and go home". Maybe it's better for those who want a calmer ending, especially after how NFS been through, but for myself, it feels weak

Glad to say that just based off this final race’s gameplay and the cringe dialogue/banter from these lame ass characters( especially the playable main character) that clearly don’t act like respectable criminal drivers, I won’t be buying this carbon copy of the last two games, especially when a lot of the changes made for this new installment feels even more uninspired and lame.

The story of this game has the same issue as it did with 2015. No proper antagonist ruins the story of NFS. Caleb, Razor and Darius are what made NFSU2, MW, and Carbon's stories so much better. Heat was also pretty good, with the corrupt task force being a nice addition. Shaw and Mercer were also really good antagonists, Shaw especially. I watched this entire video and I have no clue what the fuck is going on. Is Yas supposed to be the antagonist?? So much aggressive dialogue between the two during the race and then they're buddy-buddy again right after. Seems like with modern NFS games they always take one step forward but two steps back.

@@razzleanimation Well that's your opinion and I respect that. Here's mine about Unbound : I saw enough to understand it's not worthy of Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon. I played the OG NFS (and I still play MW and Carbon) and I didn't feel that vibe with Unbound. At least, Payback had that vibe. Great story, great cars, insane cops (but not as insane as Rivals). Heat was personally not enough for me as I felt the story too short. But Unbound is just...too street. Too short minded. When a future NFS (like Payback did) will be as good as Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon were, then I'll change my mind. Until then... I'm not gonna play this crap and not the next NFS games until EA decides to explore back what made Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon the most famous NFS games in the world.

Protagonist and antagonist was best in NFS Payback. Somehow it lacks little graphics and gameplay length but it has real deal story heat . Taking antagonists list was best in NFS most wanted 2005 was best and real feel of heat . Now EA is focusing on gameplay and graphics but gives weaker stories comparing to old NFS game and other games

Story and dialogues are super weak, they are THE EA, it shouldn't be hard to find someone proper ffs. Also dialogue during race also makes no sense. There was dialogue in Carbon too, but it was fluid, the mood was changing according to the situation of the race. Yaz is a kilometer behind but still talks trash, makes no sense. Police chatter is also super stupid. Whole police feels so decorative

Definitely is all up to appeal this time, cuz I love the weird contrast of the cell shaded art style against the realism, same for the effects. Was iffy at first but it has more than grown on me by now. Think I actually prefer it at this point.

This ending was terrible. You never see Alec, ASAP Rocky was just there just to be there. The races were very anti climatic and were races you have done a numerous amount of times throughout the story play through. Not to mention the whole story line with the mayer is stupid. She's a facist because she wants to end illegal street racing that is dangerous? Every other NFS made It kinda known you were a criminal and that added a type of excitement to the game. You know why the race genre is dying ? Most don’t give shit about the one thing that makes a race game good: How it FEELS. I NEVER see ANY review mentioning in a race game how it actually feels, when that is (TO ME) what makes or brakes it. Only Wipeout, Burnout and a view NFS games made by Criterion actually felt good. Actually Colin McRae Rally 3.0 was also flawless and. It’s unfortunate people look more at how much cars there are and what the graphics are like or what modes it has…. I used to Love Gran Turismo 1 and 2, but got bored with it quickly when i found out there are race games that actually feel fast and fluid. Most race games are extremely stiff and non fluid, i’m dissapointed time and again with new race games, the last one being motorfest, for which i had high hopes. Hope this game, altough having a risky art style and in some ways boring, at least has the Fluid and fast feeling.

The handling is just harder in this game and those crash scenes are just as annoying as 2012. Atleast they dont last longer. Effects are great but the Story is just shitty. Just like 2015. And tbh it is just like 2015, One final race with all the characters.
