0.(Chautāl) Shiva Shankar dīna dayāla mahā varadānī. Shiv Shankar is kind to humans & great fulfiller of wishes. 1. Anga vibhutī lihe mriga chhalā, jatā Gangā aur gyānī. [ Jatā Gangā aur gyānī, savaliyā, jatā Gangā aur gyānī. ] Māthe unake tīlak Chandra-mā ho. Jāke tīnī nayana jaga jānī, mahā varadānī. On his body is ash & the skin of deer, on his head is the topknot from which Ma Ganga flows. He has the moon as the mark on his forehead. All the world knows who has three eyes, is very kind, & most merciful. 2. Vahana bail trishula virājat, kar nāginī lapatānī Bhanga datūra bela ke pā-tī ho. Bhola aur jahara visha sānī, mahā varadānī. His vehicle is a bullock, he holds the trident, and he has garland of snakes. He chews the dhatur leaves (a type of intoxicating plant). Shiva has poison inside him - yet he is still most merciful and kind. 3. Shveta vasan gar mundan mālā, sang me' Gaurī Bhavānī. Linga pūjā vata damaru bajā-vata. (ĀĪŪṛāīū) Tahā gāvata bahu vidhī bānī, mahā varadānī. He is very fair, wears necklace of skulls, and has Ma Parvati with him. People worship as the lingam & the damaru (one-sided drum) player. People pray in different ways to this One who is kind & most merciful. 4. Mahādeva devana ke rājā, aur gunana kī khānī. Tulasīdās charana par mo-hita. Tahā gāla bajāve suratānī, mahā varadānī. Shiva is king of all the devas and full of all good qualities. Tulsidas prays to his lotus feet and chants melodiously in a loud voice about him who is most kind and full of mercy. .

Sumiran karo Rām arū Lachuman, Bharat Bhuāla bakhānī. Sumiran karo, Shrī mātū Jānakī ho. (ĀĪŪṛāīū) Tum ho tīno' loka kī rānī, hriday se jānī. Pray to Ram & Lakshman and also remember Bharat & Bhual. Pray to Mother Janaki (Sita) also. Devi Sharda, you are the queen of all three loks (Ākash lok, Prithvī lok, & Patiala lok). 2. Shiva Shankar bholā ko sumiro, sumiro' Gaurī sayānī. Phir se sumiro', Ganesh kī mūratī ho. Atī sundar pandita gyānī, hriday se jānī. Pray to trusting Shiv Shankar and also to Gauri Ma. Then pray to Lord Ganesh - by way of his icon. An en- chanting & learned scholar will always pray, from the heart. 3. Kari sumiran Anjanī ke nandan, merī araj yaha mānī. Phir sumiro', Shrī mātu Bhagautī ho. Tum hī ho ādī Bhavānī, hriday se jānī. Pray to Anjani’s son (Mahabir Hanuman) as per my request. Then pray to Bhagawati (Devi) Ma. Devi Sharda, you're the first Goddess Bhawani. Pray from the bottom of your heart. 4. Tulasidās sumiran kari gāvat, sura se aisī bānī. Sab devana se, āgyā lai ke ho. Bāje dhol manjīrā ānī, hriday se jānī. Tulsidas prays and sings in a sweet voice, after getting permission from all the Devatas. Bring the drum and the cymbals and play; from the bottom of your heart. ULĀRĀ Mai' Sumiro Sharadā ho devī, sab devana kī hai mūlā. Ādī jyoti bindya āchal sumiro, Kalī charana sam tūlā. Ashra bhuj aru hīngu lāj ko, jā ko charhai pān phūlā. Chau har ājā sukha dāyak sumiro, Sītal charana bhūlā. Svarga rūp mahārāni charan ko, sharana gaye kati bhūlā. KABĪRĀ Arre sadā bhāī - jī, sunale more Kabīr. Chitrakūt ghāt par, bhāīyā santan kā bīr. Tulasīdās Prabhu chandan ragre, tilak dātā Raghubīr. Jai bolo Ramaiyā bābā kī. Jai bolo Ramaiyā bābā kī! ULĀRĀ Chitavan vā me' nainā, lagāī āye Rām. Ke kārī ho tuma bārī dularī; ke kārī nārī kahāī āye Rām. Rājā Janaka kī bārī dulārī; Rāma kī nārī kahāī āye Rām. Tulasīdās balī āshā charana ke; jhukī Ramaiyā nihārī āye Rām. .
