Had a dream about a month ago telling me I was Shiva. Had no idea who Shiva was but have the abilities to do everything you shared. Can't do it alone anymore....I'm exhausted, done, checking out, and can't live in this world anymore the way it is. When you see what I see and nobody listens, i give up. Upside Down World Nothing is how it's supposed to be A world lacking kindness and empathy A man made system designed to conquer and control Bow down to the elites or relinquish your soul Chastise the outcasts and fill them with shame It's only projection anyway Under that facade is a wounded child Looking for the love they desperately desire Heal your pain, let go of the spite The shadows will no longer dim the light The meek are tired and ready to fight For a world that belongs to everyone Not giving up until it's done The corrupt will be unmasked To show the scared frightened child underneath Behind anger, control, greed, and hate, is fear The agendas are no longer hidden and perfectly clear The meek shall inherit the earth We are here to take it back We will turn it right side up Uncover the light from the black Unify!! HIndu Bali has every year the "Nyepi silent day" each year... this year it is the 3rd March. 24 hours the whole island shuts down including the TV, airport, banks, ATM's, shops, streets, internet ... everything. Thank you for the fun fact. To me it is a bit more. I was trying to make a decision, regarding my "situation" within the "administrative realm"... Yesterday night it tormented me. Today i discover Nyepi. I was "invited" to sit at a table with a "pluridiciplinary team" for a discution regarding the suspension of my rights blablabla... because i've been giving them the silent treatment for too long ^^ The rendezvous is for March the 3rd. Not sure if this will make sense but someone asked me to explain my spiritual understanding yesterday. Those who consider the objects of perception to be different from the self forever remain in bondage. The key to liberation is to realize all of this is Shiva .. everyone, even the people who bother you the most are Shiva. If you can realize that, they won't bother you anymore, and you'll realize the only reason they're bothering you is that you have failed to recognize their real nature and your own real nature. By honoring that everything will change. All that is .. is Shiva. Conscious awareness that can change effortlessly, remain in that consciousness rather than the ego consciousness.

There's a procedure that I started doing while I was in my bath. And it can work in a pool or body of water. I go under the water and holding my breath for as long as I can I go into a calm state of peace and gradually as my oxygen is running out I tell my Ego that I am in the process of killing it.. (probably worth noting that while using this mental dialogue I am as loving as I can be).. And as I get closer to the point of expiration I observe the Ego..myself.. my "Ego thoughts " and gradually try to let them all go into the watery abyss(much like the fluid of the subconscious).. It's a very relaxing and peaceful process and it almost feels like I am training my Ego for the forever letting go process. It has worked so well sometimes that I have woken up the next morning and honestly felt like I didn't have ANY identity..I became NOONE. At 1st it terrified me and then in time it felt wonderfully liberating to not be TIED to anything or anyone.

How long does the "nothingness" last? Do you practice yoga or any other spiritual practices?

@@mlg1279 I would assume that it works differently for every individual. I have done breathing exercises and other meditations over the past 10 yrs so I have settled on processes that work well enough for me. Sometimes the "No identity" remains for a few seconds .. Sometimes for a few minutes. But each time I feel like a part of my persona has been stripped back so that it feels like a cord has been cut from me.. I don't practice yoga. I tried a few times in groups but I prefer my own company when it comes to spiritual practice. Maybe this procedure I shared will work for someone. I hope it does. But I suppose my main point would be for each individual to experiment with oneself in order to gain full knowledge of what makes "you" tick.Ever since I heard the expression "KNOW THYSELF " taken from the Oracle of Delphi, I began an inner journey of limitless boundaries, curious to observe my own human condition from an eagle eye view of non judgement. Hopefully others can share similar stories to narrow the path back to oneness.

Is there no safe place to be during this disintegration of our present system ? I listen to peaceful music, lose myself in painting, take walks in the early evening. Still it is hard to ignore the growing unrest and violence in the world. I open my phone and there it is, the pettiness, the conspiracies, the political games being played out. I yearn for the days of my youth, a simpler time, the known, not the constant change and instability of the present. I guess I getting old (ha,ha). I enjoy listening to you elaborate on the human condition and the wisdom of the ancients.
