Shiva Mahimna Stotra is a Sanskrit composition in devotion of Shiva that is believed has been composed by a gandharva named Pushpadanta. It lists Shiva's various achievements and qualities. Swami Sarvapriyananda speaks on these verses on the auspicious occasion of Shivaratri.

@@jean-lucpicard581 catholics claim the same, muslims claim the same.. the claim is not allegiance to man made labels, which "hinduism", "catholicism" or "islam" are.. the allegiance is to the one only truth, the underlying and unifying, unspoken and ineffable (transcendental) truth that is behind all religions! you may call "it" God, but that is wrong, because its not an object.. its not a subject either.. there are no words to describe it or capture it.. only mystical trance (called rapture in christianity) can get you there, a state which transcends intellect and speech. its objectively not possible to talk about "it", there is no "it" because any objectification is false. therefore, all religions are outwardly false! however, they are all inwardly true, as each guy who achieved that state, in his time and culture, tried to bring that truth to his people, which was colored by his time and customs and made one way, called one religion.. trying to describe the indescribable is poetry and most saints were poets, like the great saint Rumi! if he is a christian, he is part of the truth. stop hair splitting and tribalism. accepting his cristos (keeping his seed inside aka brahmacharya/celibacy), raising it up the 33 vertebrates of his spine into his golgotha (skull) for the crucifixtion is their version of kundalini awakening, initiated by brahmacharya, leading into samadhi (which they call rapture and meeting the Lord, which is non-dual awareness -> their scriptures clearly talk about there not being a difference between the Father and the Son and the Son and the believer)! its not just hindu yogis with all the peace and supernatural powers, christians can lay on hands and perform miracles too. you may flavour truth one way or another, you can view the world with red colored glasses or blue colored glasses (which is akin to picking religions), but in the end, they dont matter. what matters is what simply is. they all are the same, so stop wasting time playing the game of converting people!

After going through what the world had to offer, I have understood that reincarnation is not the spirit coming back in somebody's physical body. This is the reincarnation of an idea that was sleeping for so long, and needs to be waken just like Kumbhakarna did at the time of Mahabharata. If that reincarnation of spirit burns your ego and other tamasik attributes influenced by the immediate exposed environment, anyone can reincarnate any spirit they want. God will fully support them.

As a person of science I have always strived to find the truths that where observed then preserved in poetic prose to make it popular & understandable to lesser beings like us. Interestingly science has observed wat can b described as this phenomenon of jyothirlinga - a BLK hole is known to be so dense dat not even light escapes it but it reaches a point of max. Intake then shoots it all out in both directions back into the cosmos - this ray is an infinite beam of light that emanates from the spiral centre black hole in both directions & we know photons travels infinitely. So I'm sure the yogi who observed this as we have wid instruments ( he/she probably thru yogic powers ) saw this event that is mindboggling in size & splendor used our finite language to compose a story around what was seen. Much like the yogi who saw the spiral galaxy & described it as the churning of milk hence ' milky way' .
