I was reminded why I don't watch this show anymore. If you're going to ask for a sign that a spirit is there and then you receive one.... and you scream then maybe you're in the wrong line of investigation. I have never liked the screaming little woman that Yvette brings along. She may be a nice person but her screaming ruins it and any other sounds are drowned out by it. If you're doing a night investigation in the woods, bring some thermal cameras, otherwise, you're going to turn a bunch of leaves into faces.

Clapham Woods, West Sussex... The locals DO NOT like visitors. It is an odd place. Part of it, the "Satanists" HAVE used epoxy resin, to tie the tops of trees together like the roof of a church. A priest WAS found dead there many years ago. I'm actually glad someone (spirit) told Yvette to STFU! It's not just her screaming in every episode, but she always just keeps blabbering on when people are trying to hear sounds or ask questions. Unfortunately for me, she was the main detractor from this show.

OMG!!! Let Yvette do the show intro, let Leslie do the history, let Kath do whatever the hell she does behind the scenes, but for God's sake DO NOT have them in the investigations!! All they do is behave as hysterical schoolgirls...seeing & hearing things at every turn,constantly screaming,whilst the investigators are trying to catch evidence that we're all interested in! I do paranormal investigations myself & understand how frightening it can be at times,but,you've got to keep your composure & remain professional!! Perhaps it's just for TV shock value? As they said at the beginning of the show..... Its at a secret location, in West Sussex!... Secret no more. No, the locals don't like folk visiting. A preist was found dead there years ago, with a broken neck. Pets & livestock go missing around there. It is in the heart of the South Downs National Park. I live 10 miles from it, first visited it in 1989 with a mate. First thing we see, red ribbons tied to a tree... Walk to it, look around, do a full 360, find another... & another. Walked up to the last & there's a dozen men wearing monks habits, cowels up! We left sharpish. Oh! Binsted Woods, another haunted woods are 15 minutes up the road. @@Chuggnuts if you watched the film... At the beginning of it, they admit that the name they've given it is invented as "the locals don't like people visiting there"! Which is VERY true of Clapham.... Not to be confused with Clapham London of course! Also, the area they show is a small portion of a larger area that stretches from the south A27, north to the A280 & Patching and all connected interconnected woods between. Yes l agree, they missed out several known places, such as the Grove of interlocking trees, epoxied together at the top. The 3 documented deaths at Clapham do kindve link into this episode, as does the Cult of Mithras legends, if you do your research.

Just my two cents' worth: It helps to leave one's all-paranormal-all-the-time bubble and know about which local predators kill deer, dearies. Also, given you allegedly have "no" large predators in the UK ... (unless you're counting the "non-existent" big cats and/or Sasquatch / Dogman) ...and the remains of two deer were found, you're talking about the obvious: human poachers. Or: large predators. Sasquatch/Bigfoot have indeed been sighted in just that area (which btw also accounts for the "wildman" reports), www.ecosia.org/search?q=Bigfoot,%20sasquatch%20sightings,%20West%20Sussex,%20England ... and one of the ways they kill deer (also 2-3 at a time) is to either ambush & grab them by the throat and break their necks, or grab them by the legs and slam them against tree trunks. And if you don't understand or cannot imagine that all manner of animals would then nibble and strew the rest of the carcass all about the area ... SIGH (Or maybe you know ALL of that, and are being disingenuous on behalf of your silly show.)

Hmmm. Seems to be rather a non-event. There's a lot of screaming and description of what they're seeing or feeling, but we, the viewers only get to see their torches and their lit faces. There's no sign of anything other than a lot of screaming and shouting. Also the music and noise added in doesn't help any. If there's to be a demonstration of spirits and sounds, it might be better just to stick a video camera there during the day, and leave the place alone so that the spirits, if there are any, can come out and do their thing without lots of hysterical, unprofessional peeps...Those things that one could hear, eg. the moaning woman, sounded suspiciously like an owl. If you've ever seen an owl at night they are amazingly like flitting spirits. And there is a lot of predator wildlife at night. Of course there will be movement and noise. All a bit disappointing.

This show has zero proof of paranormal. Just these people screaming (so annoying) and alleged encounters plus sounds anyone could be making. Those footsteps? It sounded like he was talking in place. Those footsteps did not have any sound of distance to them, you can tell it came from someone who is as not moving..just stomping his feet. Also, the last person in the back of the group could have been throwing the rocks or breaking sticks.their "psychic" too, lol, just said words that did not prove he had any psychic ability whatsoever. Anyone could have came up with what he said knowing the history of that place! It's all so fake. I don't believe any of it. So disappointing. How does this show have so many seasons? This is 45minutes of my life I cannot get back.
