How to fix common After Effects crashes

i have a i7 14th gen, rtx 4070 , and a 32 gigs 6000 Mhz ram. idk what else to have but i cant even edit normally a comp with only text layers having applied deepglow to them, without ae being crashing on me randomly. frustrated

AE crashing for that doesn’t sound good. Text layers do seem to be making AE run slow at the moment. If you like drop me a line at shiveringcactus.net we can trade emails and you can send me your project. If nothing else, we might be able to determine if DeepGlow is the problem as I don’t have that plug-in.

I swear the constant out of memory crashes will make me switch to Cavalry. like are 128 gb of ram not enough for you??

Even with a extremely expensive rig, AE ends working like crap after a few clicks... Sometimes it gets extremely frustrating!

What do I do if I get a message that says “Advanced 3D is not supported by current hardware” my after effects still crashes.

Hmm, maybe try in the Project settings to use Software Only.

Broh i am on windows 10 i installed sapphire plugin and whenever i use any effect my after effects goes freeze and lag

I think you probably need to contact @BorisFX for support on their sapphire plugin. They are really helpful.
