Great lesson in never giving up and having faith in when its meant to be, it will be. Beshert. All the other driver's said no. That was part of the plan, so you could share a meal with the right person, a Palestinian friend. I think you got as much out of this "project" if not more than you set out to give. Great video, Shloime!

People need to help people and accept people for who they are. The gentleman who accepted the offer also made some vry wise comments. We all need to live on this planet peacefully and free. None of us own this world and we can go any time. Enjoy every minute every hour every day and be a positive value to the planet.

Strolling through You Tube I first came across your adventure in: The Last Shtetl: Visiting Azerbaijan’s Mountain Jews. The word shtetl got my attention, having Jewish roots, my mother was from a warm Jewish family from Amsterdam who all perished in WWII and while I have this bittersweet feeling of having lost something that is gone for ever, Jewish history is of big interest to me. So I scrolled a little through other videos you posted and ended here. I think the title was intriguing. I watched it with so many feelings of warmth and joy. Shloime, I really think you make a difference and the two of you, making world peace as easy as it looked like, by sharing a meal was heartwarming. Asking a kind man to dinner and than it turns out he is a Palestinian, that is awesome and the two of you at that table made my heart sing. Now that I know of your travels, I will certainly keep an eye on you and watch the vids you already posted. Shalom from The Netherlands Shloime, and if you ever are in the neighborhood, give me a call.
