It’s so nice to see the orthodox Jewish people spread out to different parts of the country. My husband is Jewish and recently reached out to a rabbi for the chabad Jewish community and is teaching him how to connect to G-d in a very spiritual way as his ancestors did. His parents lost their way in the jewish teaching when he grew up and he feels he needs to reconnect. It’s wonderful to see. Look forward to watch more videos of yours in the future. G-d bless you and your family ❤

He reached out TO a Chabad Rabbi? Or AS a Chabad Rabbi? Just clarifying... The Rebbe said, where there is a Jew, we will build a Chabad House. Jews do not proselytize, but we do reach out to other Jews to help them become more observant (and religious. Two different things!). I am not Chabad but used to travel a lot for work. All over the world. Chabad was always there when I needed them.

OMG welcome! I'm in far West Texas, in El Paso. I'm originally from Connecticut, then lived in Los Angeles for 20 years, so Texas has been quite a culture shock. And like you, I never would have thought I'd live here, but we moved here during the pandemic to be close to my inlaws. I have learned that everyone is very friendly here. I'm not Jewish but many of my friends are part of the very vibrant and deep-rooted Jewish community here.

@@anitacornelius6208 It's not really the winter weather that's the problem, it's the lack of logistical preparedness. Colder states have all kinds of measures in place for winter weather, but it's so rare in Texas (though getting more common in recent years) that we pretty much only have the bare minimum at best.
