TRADING My Zenvo TSR-S for New Aurora!?

Let's talk about upgrading my Zenvo TSR-S to the new Zenvo Aurora! I'm back in Los Angeles to collect the TSR-S from the Petersen Museum after 6 weeks on display and get back on the road. As we go out spotting along the way, the hidden hypercars of LA never disappoint!
Now that the dust has settled following the global introduction of the Zenvo Aurora at Monterey Car Week, it's also given me a bit of time to think about what the future looks like for the Shmeemobile hypercar. Following those events, I left the TSR-S in the safe hands of the team at the world famous Petersen and it has been on display in the lobby to be seen by many since.
Upon return to collect the car, it would be wrong not to take a tour around some of the exhibits including the Hollywood Gallery, Porsche 75th Anniversary and Ferrari exhibits. Naturally, I've been itching to get back behind the wheel and we're straight on the roads of Beverly Hills, including a visit to a location that certainly impresses with special hypercars!
It's crazy to think that there are currently two Shmeemobiles in the USA, but they are 2,000 miles apart with the new Mustang Dark Horse currently having PPF applied at Ceramic Pro Chicago. In the not too distant future however, these two cars will be together as we get ready for SEMA in Las Vegas at the end of the month.

I appreciate your purchase of the Zenvo and being a part of the Zenvo community. Having a supercar company in the neighbouring country is very fun. I also appreciate the fact that you bought it when nobody really knew about Zenvo (still a lot of people that don't know it). I am mixed on this. Depends on which way Zenvo goes as a Company, if its a Pagani, the earlier cars can be worth soo much. Especially in a spec as nice as your Zenvo. If it turns out to be a company like a Noble, you should upgrade. So basically i have no clue.

Sadly Zenvo doesn’t have the heritage and prestige of big manufacturers. The new line up does look fantastic- however, I’m not sure the TSRS will hold its value in the future (maybe I am wrong).

in my honest opinion. I think the channel hasn't really seen enough of the TSR-S. you've barely even broke the engine in! Now of course given it is probably your most valuable car nobody can really blame you for keeping it in the garage. At the end of the day it is your money, we are all super proud of where you have come and will support your every decision!

im from denmark, and zenvo makes me proud :-D especially when i think about how far they've come. dont forget that denmark is a small humble country and their small factory in Præstø, when at first glance you dont really think they make hypercars in there when you drive by... its quite cool. i cant wait to hear the sound of the two new latest flagship models :-D. i wanna hear it scream!! pls post a video with the aurora models when you can Tim, im eager to actually hear the beasts :-D

Completely understandable. I know that you would have an Aurora in a heartbeat. But I agree with what you’re thinking, Tim. You also have to take into consideration that the Aurora is a very serious bit of kit and a little bit less streetable as the Zenvo TSR-S. Still…if you can possibly do it (with the company help and support…) I think you should. The Aurora would be a stunning car to add to your collection. I will watch you anyway as it is the only way I would ever see any of the glorious exotic cars you are kind enough to share your experience with us. Positive thoughts and thanks.

I will keep the older Zenvo. For some reason I like it more. It looks more practical to be honest and from the front it gives a supercar a hypercar and muscle car vibe which you don't get with any other hypercar out there. It's really unique and that is what makes me think it's a keeper. The Aurora is just hypercar based and that makes it less interesting to be honest. Not to mention the color of your car. For some reason reason I think that your paint color pick makes it really stand out. A Aurora in this color just won't do it

The 2009 Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee Camaro still looks beautiful to this day! Those Bumper Ports clmbined with the concept ZL1 Lower Grill, Oracle side mirrors and Metallic Rally Yellow look great on it still. I’d love to recreate the Dark of the Moon version.

So much resource tied into obtaining the TSR I think you need to hold on to it for a couple of years at least to get to enjoy more drives with it. For what it is I think today we would expect it to have more of the bar of soap looks like all it’s rivals have and that’s why it generates so many comments where people don’t get it. However I think it’s a “grower”. Personally I didn’t dislike it at first but it certainly has grown on me in abounds. I suspect this one will get under your skin Tim if it hasn’t already

I love the aurora but in my opinion, I would keep the TSR-S and save the money you would need to jump into the Aurora and go for one of your ultimate dream cars once you can afford them (Carrara GT for example).
