VALKYRIE STEALS THE SHOW! Uncovering LA's Hypercar OVERLOAD

This Aston Martin Valkyrie absolutely shuts down the ultimate hypercar show in Los Angeles! Starting from Beverly Hills, we're spotting from my Zenvo TSR-S on the way down to PFS' Supercars at Sunset, for a turnout that has never seen before. This is absolute madness!
Less than 24 hours after arriving in California, and having only just picked up my Zenvo from LAX the previous night, we're immediately into the thick of things with an event that you wouldn't see anywhere else. Starting up from the familiar Rodeo Drive, and via a quick swing past the Beverly Wilshire to check out Sparky18888's line-up, it's all the way down to Orange County to visit PFS.
Supercars at Sunset has truly brought out the big guns; with countless Bugattis, Paganis, Koenigseggs and other hypercars. There's a stunning bronze Lamborghini Countach, SSC brought the Tuatara Striker, I'm sandwiched between two Ford GTs, and a flurry of Lexus LFAs and Porsche Carrera GTs play out a stunning soundtrack. However, it's the Aston Martin Valkyrie that gets the show buzzing like no other, drawing the most immense crowd given there are none yet registered in the US and this car having flown over from Guernsey.

The Bugatti Veyron Study (distinguished by its vent in the front fender) is most definitely a Veyron unicorn. The Bumblebee Dauer Porsche 962, only car to go from LM winner to road car and then back LM winner in 1994 (then banned)is definitely amazing automobile history. Only a handful of cars of that era to eclipse the 400+ kph. Lotec C1000 and the Callaway Corvette Sledgehammer being the others, respectively. However, the very first high-speed car will be the 1938 Railton Mobil Special which created land speed records pre and post world wars. Her highest LSR was 634 kph. Great cover Tim.

That Tricolore is such an incredible spec was lucky enough to see that earlier this year when it used to be featured at The Peterson as well. Under that lighting truly shows how beautiful that blue carbon fiber is and the black as well. It's not surprising 49 years later the underlying car is better, but it's just a rebodied Lamborghini Sián. Read e.g. Motor Trend's "When Retro Goes Wrong: Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a Miss".
