This right here is why classic world pvp is just amazing. He used the environment, he used potions, he used trinkets, he used the shadows, HE USED A RANDOM PERSON WALKING BY. But the shaman had the elements on his side, so he had just stood there and fought, as close as he could possibly be to the very elements themselves. Amazing, like genuinely incredible.

i was waiting for that to be tried like as soon as they made it to the chain the first time, but for some reason it takes shobek a very long time to start trying that, or even just blinding the guy on the chain. also hemo is just not a good build in SoD, thats why he actually started doing damage once he switched to anything else (saber slash in this case)

Took a master in rogue to kill this shaman... the class imbalance is real. The shaman played "well" cause he just self heal and place the same totem over and over again with almost unlimited mana while Shobek had to time most skills perfectly and praying it doesn't miss.

he is a good rogue, but hes using hemo swords in SoD, which just doesnt seem to do damage in pvp. if you look he actually starts doing reasonable damage once he switches to saber slash. it sucks that non-dagger builds are punished in SoD, but it is what it is i guess

Shaman would not have fallen into lava without Shobek's distract. Keep in mind that was like the 5th or 6th try too so shaman knew about it already. Plus there was zero fall damage which means the shaman failed his lava jumps as well. He had plenty of mana to cast bigger heals but didn't. He was outfoxed which is a 100% viable way to lose in a duel. He was playing a broken class but lost due to failing to react to some of most basic mechanics in the game. He lost fair and square but also is obvi a good player so he earns our respect.
