SHOCK AND AWE! N64 is Coming to MiSTer FPGA

PSX core creator FPGAzumSpass has blown minds across the world today by revealing that he's working on N64 for MiSTer! Wow! I'll continue to follow this and bring you testing once the first public release happens later this year.
Correction: I suggested in the video that this is coded in VHDL, it isnt yet. This is a proof of concept emulator Robert is coding to understand the system before porting to FPGA.

Exciting news! Minor correction: The emulator you're seeing in the video is not written in VHDL. VHDL is a hardware description language, which isn't what you'd use for a software emulator. Robert always writes a software emulator as a first step, and then later writes HDL for FPGA. The software version is probably written in C.

I don't know how many LUTs the mister has, or anything, but I do know anythings possible with the right add on cards, and coprocessor....which I guess would be true for any FPGA.
