The lifetime seating for Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges needs to end and term limits with a code of ethics and rules and regulations that would hold the corrupt justices and Federal Judges accountable for their corruption or crimes needs to be implemented by congress (years ago). Something needs to change to hold criminals hiding in plain sight in Congress, Supreme Court, Federal Judges in positions of power accountable for their corruption or crimes.

In NZ this "wet bus ticket" style sentence is called being "convicted and discharged". So upholding the conviction. You're still a felon. But you won't be punished at all except for the fact you have a criminal record. I'm absolutely certain that is not in the range of sentences normally given to someone who has done what Trump did in this case. But we have to remember it is his business fraud with a view to corruptly influencing an election case. Which is the mildest of all the crimes he's been indicted for by grand juries of his peers, based on hard evidence brought before them. The trials for his worst criminality during his presidency and post presidency have been delayed and blocked by inept justice system and actual corrupt judges (definitely Cannon, and the SCOTUS immunity ruling majority).
