This might be a dumb question, but why isn't the zone control tech in the rear shock offerings for the Taco? Not needed generally?

We typically pair 8112 front with our 8100 External Bypass direct fit rears, which are already position sensitive.

My taco is pretty heavy with steel bumpers, full steel skids, winch and sliders. Would the spring that comes with the 8112 dsa+ be too soft for my application or should i be considering a heavier spring? I currently have 6112 with a #700 spring, pretty stiff but i dont mind it since it helps with lift

Hi Spencer, we do offer a 650 lb spring that works with either the 6112 or 8112, we also have a 700 lb spring specifically for the 8112. Those part numbers are 53-291387 and 53-332837 or you can also find them by heading to our online catalog at cart.bilsteinus.com and entering your vehicle info.

@BILSTEIN - is it possible to incorporate external rebound adjustment on these? That way customers can adjust rebound speeds to match driving speeds as well as payload (trucks with higher payload are more prone to ‘packing down’ when rebound speeds are too slow where as trucks with no payload are more prone to ‘bucking’ when rebound speeds are too high). That would be the ultimate ‘shut-up and take my money’ shock. P.S. - can I have a set manufactured for a 2016 F150 @ 0-2” lift? P.P.S. - rear too please

How does it work if you need to limit the travel of shock? Meaning a 8” is too long and with that much travel you are going to damage steering and other components and you need to limit the travel to 7.5” example.

We use this tech on direct-fit applications only, where the length and tune are specific to the vehicle.

10 minutes in and I'm like wtf. Shut up and let the man with technical knowledge speak! Stop trying to make metaphors and be a salesman. One of the other two has already insulted my intelligence at least once...... Billstein- get the other two out of the room and hire decent communicators.
