I never realized it until many years later how useless Toy's special attack was against the final boss and Toy was the character I used the most. I remember losing so many coins at Stage 4 (@12:11) I found Toy's laser difficult to use on that stage because of the constant barrage of soldiers, tanks and the way the stage is angled to make you go upwards and sideways in a slanted pattern. Stationary targets were easy from a distance but when moving, the laser ruined me so many times.

Both Toy's and Leon's bombs remove all projectiles from the screen so his bomb would have some use
