JVP? or JVD? I'm assuming they are both the same thing?

JVD is jugular venous distension(so stretching of the vein). JVP is jugular venous pressure(so the pressure in that vein). So I would go with JVP because it isn't always distension that changes pressure in the veins but the venous pressure and arterial pressure will both be affected in any kind of shock.
