That sea life is literally in their back yard. There is a beautiful coral reef in a nearby town of moalboal we used to do spear fishing there back in the 90s but it is not a tourist spot.

I think the main reason was there was a super typhoon over the sea around the Philippines making it super choppy. Just bad luck but fun anyway 😂

Go to Malapascua for a scuba diving to see the thresher sharks. You can also drop by before going there to the Fantastic Island in Medellin. It is in the Northernmost part of Cebu while Malapascua is a nearby island but you can taka a boat at the next town of Medellin in the town of Daan Bantayan. Enjoy your stay in Cebu and be safe.

Those kind of videos are really helping me out since im planning my trip to the philippines right now! We want to go in August but are a bit concerned regarding the rain. Statistics and weather apps show that cebu region is the most stable one. At what time of the year did you go to Cebu? Have you been to other parts of Philippines aswell? Cheer!
