I do wish Abdullah would refrain from calling the men in ceremonial uniform "guards" and the men in camo "soldiers". It creates the impression that there's a difference between them. They're all Troopers in the Household Cavalry of the Guards Regiments. I know that British people are aware but it could be confusing for viewers from overseas.

I know who the Life Guards/Blues & Royals, Chitzman/women, Gatesman/women are, and even the stable troopers who come check the horses, bring water, and who the GUARDS in the boxes are. They are GUARDS who GUARD the KING. They are on duty SOLDIERS too. It's not confusing at all.

He asked repeatedly for people to move back before he had to raise his voice. He should have told them once and then let them see what happens when they don't listen. I can already see the headlines: Tourists who refused to follow warning instructions were injured as 2 horses trampled them whilst on ceremonial duty. When interviewed, the Kings Horses stated that they had the right of way and as military horses they will not be prevented from doing their Royal duty by Tourons. The 2nd horse added that they were grateful for the extra treats from their human Troopers and the love and admiration from You Tube fans around the world. 😊

Bless the guard, I do not know what their orders are, there was quite a bit of horse touching. Other guards seem to call out visitors for touching. It time, I think, for overall unity across all the guards. I love this facility and being able to see what goes on. I learned that the horses only do a 1-hour shift, usually. They are guarding, working, after all. They've simply opened it up for tourism. Most tourists seem respectful, but some ??? The horses are treated amazingly and even get paid vacations, running around on the beach etc. If I were a horse I'd love it. Plus animals love to have a purpose. It is good for their growth and sense of achievement. Just like us. As long as they are well treated, which is the case.

This video is very hard to watch because tourists are still disobeying the signage and touching, pawing the horses anyway. Next its the reins again, then crowding into the arches and horse box. The signs are invisible if not enforced. And obviously when just one person touches the horses, then each one hundred following also touch the horse, and reins. Etc.

I hope that soldier wasn’t disciplined too hard but screaming at tourist for doing what they’ve always done was unnecessary. They need someone out there that is loud but courteous. “I’m not going to tell you again!” and hollering at a woman just standing there was just rude. They want tourist they have to deal with them and the King knows that… I’ve always wanted to go and see these horses and soldiers but I’ll reconsider if this is how I’ll be treated.
