If I'm not mistaken, McKinley West is still within BGC. BGC refers to all land area which was part of what used to be the former Fort Bonifacio military base (McKinley West and McKinley Hill included), and subsequently redeveloped for commercial and residential use by the Bases Conversion Development Authority. Not sure why a lot of people mistakenly consider the McKinley West/McKinley Hill area as not being part of BGC anymore.

McKinley technically is not part of BGC. Not all the developed areas of the former Fort Bonifacio are part of BGC. If you check the Megaworld website, they even say that McKinley Hills is besides BGC. They should know, since they are the developers.

👍👏👌 This is a really nice condo with 2 big rooms and 1 small room and also i really like it because each room has it's own balcony with a pool view and also the living area has balcony and the space is really big for a condo layout and also it has a noise cancellation from the outside street. And i really like the kitchen it has a decent size and you can convert the staff room to another kitchen area or laundry area. And i think the price is a little bit high but for me i think i would prefer a more higher floors so i can see more city views because i think if i buy a condo i prefer on a higher floor with the same layout like this one but that's my opinion but overall this is a really nice condo i really like the room layout and the area its big❤❤❤❤

This is so true as new builds all offer super low rates to entice you to sign on to their contract and don’t try to get back what you spend it’s made neigh impossible to get a refund. They inevitably miss their hand over date and they don’t care they have your money and commitment.

Buy a DMCI condo instead. They claim to be “budget” but their amenities and build quality will be better than Megaworld for a franction of the cost. Plus their floor plan is better.

BGC is not overpriced. It’s worth it. And for investment purposes, BGC will appreciate faster/higher. And demand in BGC is also very high. It’s easy to rent/lease/sell.

Wrong. You are referring to a house and lot, not a condo. Condos can be owned by foreigners just like in other countries because there is no land attached to them. Usually, retirement units are sold on leasehold which runs for specified years.

Foreigners could only lease them and must abide or based on PH policy with DHSUD. In addition to that regulation, they must return back home before their visa expires -- depending on visa entry category or classification: visitors or tourists; business investors; political delegates visit; asylum; safe haven due to war in native land, and etc. Foreigners could however buy and own an entire property provided they switch their foreign citizenship over to a Philippinnian Citizen or have a dual citizenship -- either domicile is eligible and could own a house or a condo. In a nutshell, all countries would normally have rules and regulations for foreigners (s) they must adhere to before qualifying to buy or own a property from another country. be blessed. may2024
