Poor Norseman who is a very chill horse, getting a bad name for another horses meltdown. The horse was in fact the temperamental Luxembourg. But both troopers did a good job trying to convince the horse to stay in the box.

Poor Luxembourg he's not having a good day. Prehaps he didn't like the Tourons laughing at him when answering a call of nature. Horse theought "thats it I'm off, I'm not standing for that" As all credit to the trooper, and the South African trooper for getting the horse off with no damage to themselves and the Tourons. Wonders how long before Tourons decide to take to take a short cut through the empty box. 😂

The horse’s name is Luxembourg. He certainly was upset by something, but was well handled by his Trooper and the Trooper-Stableman. Excellent horsemanship!

I think I have mentioned before that when a horse relieves his bladder they tend to get upset and do not want to stand in the box. May be the smell or the wet under foot. Watching your videos John, it appears to be a common incident with these majestic animals. Ronnie in Saskatchewan

The horse, after a few tries, finally gave the trooper a pretty good bite, made the trooper jump and rub his arm. But, he stayed in control of the horse as best as he could. Wow, he's a sight to behold, magnificent. I know they're trying to make the horse realize that he's not the boss, can't always give in because then he'll do it all the time, but I don't think he's going to settle down. Let's see, but I don't want the trooper bitten or hurt again.

There’s a veterinary assistant in the stable. The horses are checked prior to going on duty. Most likely it’s the noisy crowd which this horse doesn’t like. He’s done this before.

I cannot figure out why people laugh when a horse relieves himself?? 😮. Perfectly natural except they do not go indoors in a toilet!! They are animals and relieve when they have to anywhere they are. But I really do not see anything funny about it? So why laughter? The horse pee’d big deal. Just my opinion. Maybe I am just an old fuddy duddy!!!?

@christinaanderson2167 . Both The Household Cavalry regiments and the Kings Troop use Irish draught/thoroughbred cross bred in Ireland and purchased from selected breeders . HCav use larger black horses , Kings Troop smaller horses varying in colour from light bay to black matched in teams of 6 for pulling the gun carriages .
