Maido isn't a Japanese restaurant, it's a Nikkei restaurant. Nikkei is the fusión of Japanese and Peruvian food. It's a Peruvian creation.

go to the center of Lima thing that you see the architecture and find "huariques". Now with the cold it is richer to eat that Lima dessert called "picarones". I loved that country, I lived there for about 8 years, my flight is scheduled for next year. I loveeee Peru

@@titaramirez378 I was in Jesus Maria, it is a nice district, safe and not as expensive as San Isidro, Miraflores or Surco. Although I started in Barranco it is very nice and one of the top districts hahaha, but I still had to move because it was not located so close to the company where I worked:( You can research which districts are the safest and most beautiful if you go on a trip. On vacation with some Peruvian friends we went to what they call Asia which is located in Cañete, a beautiful place, beautiful sunsets, good parties.

You should taste more Peruvian food in different places, not just expensive restaurant, as I Peruvian I would recommend you in your next stop here, go to local cities in Peru (huariques) *ask Kathy what it means* ❤️. It will be the only way to taste our real food. ❤️🙌🏼

That's cool you tried "chicha". I've never heard of "chicha morada". I bet it is good too! Like in Peru, Chile celebrates Christmas in the summer. This is why here in The U.S around June I feel like Christmas is coming lol. It is a crazy weird feeling, but I can't help it :D. Beautiful vlog! I loved the editing and all the detailed explanations about meals and the Peruvian culture in general
