Get ready for an epic Peruvian food tour across 3 food markets in Lima! In this video, we'll be visiting 3 brand new food markets that have opened up in the neighbourhood of Miraflores over the last couple of years. These markets offer a mix of Peruvian food, fusion cuisine, as well as international dishes.
We visited the following food markets:
Mercado San Martín // Calle San Martin 482
- chaufa Amazónico: Amazon fried rice with plantain and dried pork
- ceviche: raw fish cured in lime juice with sweet potato, corn, red onions, and fried calamari
Mercado San Ramón // Calle de las Pizzas 290
- gourmet double burger on a brioche bun
- acevichado: maki rolls inspired by ceviche
- sacred valley smoothie: blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and mint
Mercado 28 // Avenida Vasco Núñez de Balboa 755
- causa: yellow potato dish done 4 ways with chicken and cilantro, tuna, shrimp and mushroom
- beef sandwich with cheese and caramelized onions
- lemongrass juice
- manjar blanco and merengue dessert with port wine

Platos recomendables si no los han probado Seco de cabrito combinado, Quinoto de champignones con lomo jugoso, Tacu tacu con salsa de mariscos, Corvina a lo macho, Chupe de camarones de Arequipa, Choros a la chalaca, Parihuela, Fettucini a la huancaina con solomillo en su jugo, conchitas a la parmesana, Pastel de choclo, Pulpo al olivo, Pescado a la chorrillana, ceviche de conchas negras, ensalada de chonta con salsa de cocona, ensalada arequipeña solterito con habas, pan con pejerrey arrebosado. Pan con salchicha huachana. Refresco de camu camu, refresco de maracuya, refresco de carambola, refresco de cocona. Postres como arroz zambito, mazamorra de calabaza, ranfañote, tejas, chocotejas, melcocha con mani, arroz con leche combinado con mazamorra morada, King kong, picarones, mim pao con frejol colado.

Qué gran recorrido gastronómico han hecho, lindos lugares y se ven muy deliciosas las comidas, gracias por los datos e información de los precios…..siempre vemos junto con mi esposo sus vídeos en español pero hoy entramos a su canal en inglés y nos hemos ayudado con la traducción,pero ha sido muy entretenido y sobretodo hemos podido conocer un poco más a Samuel,ya q como en sus vídeos en español participa poco a causa del idioma, muy poco sabíamos de él, así que nos ha alegrado mucho escuchar sus opiniones, pq es simpático y divertido. Don't forget to visit also Mercado 1 and Mercado 2 de Surquillo, for a very "realistic" yet organized experience in a local market. Also, try Pan con chicharrón at El Chinito, you will freak out!
