What I like about Sifuna, is that he argues with receipts. He doesn't just hurl abuses etc. It becomes difficult to argue with someone arguing with facts that everyone can see, is aware of, or can verify with ease. If he runs for the big seat I'll definitely vote for him from Mt. Kenya because I get the sense that he's fair and will probably not be too corrupt. I felt that he could have helped Igathe with his campaign more though, since his senate seat was more or less assured.

What is it with Ojienda and giving people money to attend anything he is involved in? In the ja'Luo spirit and the process of moaning your dead, it's sacrilegious for the bereaved to do what he is doing. I urge all ja'Luos to read Luo Kit Gi Gi Tembe GI BY Mzee (R. I. P. ) Paul Mboya. I read it over and over hoping to know my father's side and his people's tradition hoping that it'd help me understand my mean spirited siblings. Very insightful and informative. Traditionally, Ojienda was not even supposed to light even a fire. Its the clan, the villagers and well wishers who are supposed to bring food. But on the other side, if ja'Luos want someone to carry on with Raila Amollo Odinga's legacy, that person is non other than Edwin Sifuna.
